Court Order Nahcon to Seal Illegal Tour Operators

The Federal High Court sitting in Kano has granted an exparte order for the National Hajj
Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) , to close down 13 unregistered Hajj and Umrah
Tour operators. All the 13 affected companies were based in Kano
This was contained in a statement signed by the commission’s
information officer, Mousa Ubandawaki.
According to the statement “The court order was sequel to the
motion exparte application filed on the 27th February 2017, by the commission
against the companies for operating Hajj and Umrah business without valid
operation license”
It said after the hearing on the 9th of March, 2017, Hon.
Justice Z. B. Abubakar granted the commission's leave to seal the business
premises of the affected companies. Meanwhile, the commission's Kano
zonal office has begun the implementation of the Court's order”
“Companies affected are: Mush Travel and Tours, Billiyu Travel and Tours, IBH Travel and Tours, FARDIQ Travel and Tour, Mungadi and Taiseer, Al Manar Travel and Tour, Aslam Travel and Tour, Sundown Travel and Tour, Dayim Travel and Tour, Al-furqan Travel and Tour, Almukhtar Travel and Tour, Meku Travel and Tour and MPC Travel and Tour” The statement added.
