Nigerian Christian, Muslim Pilgrims Commission Agree On Bilateral Cooperation

Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission
,NCPC, and National Hajj Commission of Nigeria , NAHCON, have agreed on
bilaterally work to boost economic interests of the nation in their
respective Holy Lands.
The agreement was reached when NAHCON team led
by its Chairman/CEO Abdullahi Muktar, went on a return visit to
Rev. Tor Uja, the Executive Secretary of the Christian Pilgrims Commission on
Thursday in Abuja.
"Both commissions agreed to bilaterally
work for the benefits of their clients(the Pilgrims) by developing their
productivity capacity.
"They also agreed to boost economic
interests of Nigeria in the Holy Lands and to trace the path of
sustainability (self-sufficiency)," highlight of the visit broadcast
on NAHCON Face Book and WhatsApp information center.
During an earlier visit to the Chairman of
NAHCON in Abuja in February, the Executive Secretary of NCPC, stressed the need
for continued cooperation between the two commissions.
He described Hajj Commission as a "Senior
Brother" and as such would be glad to cooperate with the Commission for
mutually beneficial relationship.
"We need continued cooperation between
the Hajj Commission in technical, social and financial matters," Mr. Uja
said.
The executive secretary recalled with
satisfaction how NAHCON was very instrumental to the successful take off of
NCPC at the threshold of its creation when the commission accommodated NCPC
free in their complex for two years.
